If you've heard that it's either "vo-tech" or college, you've been misinformed. Following the college-prep route is not the only way to get to college. Technical education has changed since the old days. Today, you have more options and more possibilities than ever before.

Here, you benefit from a blend of academic subjects and practical training. You'll develop technical skills that are respected and needed in the workplace. You'll experience work and get a feel for what it's really like out there. At the same time, you'll complete the academic credits needed to continue your education in college or other post-secondary program. The best way to prepare is to lay the foundation for lifelong learning. We will help you do just that.

Investigate career preparation opportunities for your child by attending a Career Academy program located at one of the High Schools. Explore the different possibilities that will give your child a head start on a high wage, high skill, or high demand career path today. Career Academies provide students an opportunity to suceed in a high tech world through real word instruction.

Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSO)

Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSO) provide leadership training and reinforce specific career and technical skills. Career Student Organizations provide activities for students as an integral part of the instruction offered. Ask your instructor how you can get involved.
