Academy Overview:
Gateway to Technology, a PLTW Pre-engineering program for middle schools, is based on five, nine week courses that are designed to be hands-on allowing students to see how engineering is used to solve everyday problems. Although not intended as an introduction to the PLTW pre-engineering high school program, many schools report improved interest in the high school Pathways to Engineering program because of Gateway-To- Technology.
